Veterans Monthly Disc Golf Challenge - April

Please sign up on Disc Golf Scene for the host El Dorado Disc Sports. 

This monthly event is for all Veterans of the United States Military and is intended to introduce the great sport of disc golf and encourage Veterans to spend time outdoors together. Research has shown a strong connection between time spent with peers in nature and reduced stress, anxiety, and depression. We believe veterans deserve a fun and engaging peer support system that can provide stability and recovery for those who have gone through the same struggles. Players will arrive at 9:30 am to get information regarding the round. Players are encouraged to bring their own gear if you have it. D2R and El Dorado Disc Sports will provide discs and appropriate gear to players who need it, as well as any other information.  All Veterans will receive/borrow the appropriate gear necessary to play a round of Disc Golf at the Cameron Park Lake Disc Golf Property.

What is Disc Golf?

Disc Golf is a great group sport where players ranging from Novice to Advanced can play together and compete in a great and friendly environment. Partnering with Cameron Park Disc Golf course we will be able to use their beautiful and well designed course as well as the pro shop and gathering area by the picnic tables.

Types of Play:

Singles: Playing a round by yourself and score is calculated just by your score card.

Doubles: 2 players, play from best shot location, each player gets a shot.

Team Play, Best Ball, Bestscore: All 4 players on the card play together to get the best score possible.
