Join us for a fun, community-driven Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser benefiting Disconnect to Reconnect, a local nonprofit supporting Veterans through outdoor recreation, connection, and community.

Entry Fee: $20 per person
General admission includes full access to taste every chili entry and the opportunity to vote for your favorites. Pay at the door.
Event Summary
Disconnect to Reconnect is hosting a Chili Cook Off Fundraiser to bring the community together, raise funds for local Veteran outdoor programs, and create an enjoyable event for families, supporters, and Veterans in the area. The fundraiser will feature homemade chili entries, raffle prizes, and an afternoon of fun and connection. All proceeds will support free outdoor programs for Veterans, including hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, surfing weekends, snowshoe trips, and other community based experiences.
Chili Participant Information
We are seeking community members who would like to enter their homemade chili into the cook off.
Participants will provide
• Their chili
• A crock pot, Instant Pot, or other warming device
• Any toppings they would like to offer
Disconnect to Reconnect will provide tasting cups or bowls, utensils, napkins, and all voting materials.

Voting Process
Each attendee will receive voting tickets upon entry. These tickets can be placed into containers at each chili station to vote for favorite selections. Votes will be counted near the end of the event and a winner will be announced.
The first place winner will receive a prize and recognition as the Chili Cook Off Champion.
Additional Fundraising
Raffle prizes will be available throughout the event. Attendees may purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win donated items from local businesses and supporters. All funds raised from the raffle will support Disconnect to Reconnect programs for Veterans.
Purpose of the Fundraiser
Disconnect to Reconnect provides free outdoor programs for Veterans. These experiences help Veterans reconnect with nature, with one another, and with themselves. Funds raised from this event support gear, food, transportation, instruction, and the overall cost of running outdoor trips. The goal is to remove all financial barriers so Veterans can participate at no cost.
Closing
The Chili Cook Off Fundraiser is a community focused event that brings people together for a meaningful cause. By attending, participating, or contributing, supporters directly impact the lives of local Veterans and help Disconnect to Reconnect continue offering life changing outdoor opportunities.
